Meet Dr. Jeremy Reidy
Dr. Jeremy Reidy
Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM)
Licensed Acupuncturist in Pennsylvania & Florida
It’s rare for a patient to know the story behind the practitioner. I believe sharing that story matters — because healing begins with trust.
I was born and raised right here in Williamsport — this community means the world to me. Like many from our area, baseball was in my blood from the time I could walk. That passion carried me south to Savannah, Georgia, where I joined a traveling team that competed throughout the Southeast — and eventually earned my way to a college scholarship at the Florida Institute of Technology.
I graduated from Florida Tech with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine (Traditional Chinese Medicine) from the Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I’m board-certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and currently licensed as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Florida and a Licensed Practitioner of Oriental Medicine in Pennsylvania.
I’m a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Oriental Medicine serving patients throughout Williamsport and the greater Lycoming County area.
A Life Devoted to Healing
From the Baseball Field to the Healing Room
My early years were shaped by movement, discipline, and the mechanics of performance. While working as a personal trainer at the YMCA, I discovered yoga — the first bridge that connected physical movement to mindful awareness.
I went on to receive certification in Sport Yoga and began helping athletes optimize performance and prevent injuries. Those lessons — about balance, energy, and recovery — would become the foundation for how I approach healing today.
Before devoting my time fully to clinical practice, I also taught pitching mechanics and produced instructional DVDs that have been sold worldwide since 2004. Seeing young athletes refine their craft and reach their potential was deeply rewarding — and I bring that same curiosity and precision to every acupuncture treatment I perform.
Finding My Way Back Home
In 2007, I joined the Alternative Medicine Family Care Center in Vero Beach, Florida, where I was fortunate to train under a physician with over 25 years of clinical experience in Oriental Medicine. Those two years were invaluable — refining my technique, deepening my clinical perspective, and confirming that this was the work I was meant to do.
Still, something was missing. I began to miss where I came from — the people, the community, the sense of home. In 2009, I returned to Williamsport to open the region’s first center dedicated to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Coming home was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I feel privileged every day to do this work.
Why I Practice
I’ve dedicated my life to the healing arts because there’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone reclaim their health — and their joy.
Every patient who walks through my door carries a story. My role is to listen, observe, and understand what the body is communicating — then guide it back to balance using the tools of Chinese Medicine. Whether it’s pain relief, stress reduction, or restoring vitality, the goal is always the same: to help you live with greater freedom, clarity, and comfort.
Over the years, I’ve continued postgraduate studies in advanced acupuncture systems and clinical integration, ensuring my patients always receive the most effective and up-to-date care.
Time and practice have refined my craft — but curiosity still guides every treatment.
I feel grateful for every person who entrusts me with their care.
